Signed Contracts

Harbor Marketing Signed Contracts is an alternative to expensive digital signing platforms like DocuSign. Using this feature your customers can sign digital contracts directly from your website.

Managing Contracts

Access your Contracts from the Site Dashboard in the Marketing Tools Box.

You will be able to view all the contracts created and add new contracts.

Adding a New Contract

To add new contracts for your customer click on the add new button. It will open a new page where you can enter contract  details.

You can also edit an existing contract by clicking on their names.

  1. Type in the Name of your contract
  2. Choose any tags that you want added to the contact when the contract is signed.
  3. Placing the spot for the signature is automatically placed at the bottom of the document unless you use the Oops shortcode.
  4. You can insert replacement codes for many different uses. If you use the owner name, it will automatically use the owner of the contract which would be how you are logged in when you create it. YOU ARE THE OWNER.
  5. Just type out how you want your contract to read.

Here are some examples of what replacement codes are available.

Once your contract is ready click on save. It will generate a shortcode for your contract. You can copy the newly generated shortcode for your contract and paste it onto your website.

Contracts can only be viewed by those who have an active tracking cookie OR those who are logged in to your website. What this means is if your client can not see the contract, it is because they have never created a tracking cookie in your site. For example, if they have scheduled a strategy session or filled out a form, they will have a tracking cookie.

Signing Contracts

Once you add the shortcode on your page it will display the contract to your users. If your contract contains replacement code then it’s values will be automatically fetched from contact details.

Your contracts contain a sign panel that users can use to sign using various input devices like mouse or touch screen.

Once a client has successfully signed the contract it will redirect them to the success page where they can view their signed contract.

From the success page, users can print their contact if needed.

If you want to view all the signed contracts by your customers, you can view them by clicking on Signed Contracts. The contract owner can view and print contracts as needed.

You can also view the contract in the client’s contact page. Once they sign the contract, their contact page will automatically be updated.
